Tools You’ll Need
- A flat-head screwdriver
- Repaired or replacement chain (if needed)
- Wire cutter or scissors
Method 1
Step 1: Uninstall the Blinds
- Locate the pin end that’s opposite to the chain end.
- Turn the plastic cord anticlockwise to bring the pin in and you’ll be able to release your roll-up blinds.
- Easily take the roller system down. It’s that simple!
Step 2: Slide Out Control End
In the case of a single or standard double roller, pull the pieces of the control end apart to get access to the detached, loosened, or broken chain.

Step 2: Pull the Detached or Broken Chain Out
- Locate connector and pop one of the ends of the chain out of it.

- To thread the chain, slide its tip through the left side of the guard.
- Make sure to hold the clutch with the base facing down and the barrel facing up.
