Both summer- and winter-friendly
I'm a N. Yorker. Weather in New York is extremely cold nowadays. Essential Cordless Cellular Shade, one of the cheapest window coverings, has performed super well during the hotter month. Now they have stood the test of winter insulation, keeping drafts, soft hail and snow pellets away. Also I'm expecting at least 15% cut in my monthly heating costs. The child-safe cordless lift is easy to operate. It lacks motorization is what I dislike about this blind. I contacted affordableblinds.com and they suggested motorization add-on. I'll go for that soon. Moreover, I'm going to order a few more of these blinds. 10 outa 10!

Cheap cordless cellular shade with a nail-biting fishing
I wanted to buy the "Elite" model of the cordless cellular blinds but ran short of budget by $20, so had to opt for this cheap "Essential" model. Now happy that I did the right thing, these are a 'wow' thing, so beautiful, so functional. Affordableblinds' customer service persons are also great.

Safe, comfort-enhancing blind for kids' room
We ordered two of them for our little ones' rooms east and north facing windows. I'm writing this review after 5-days satisfactory experience. Both pieces were easy to install and create a built-in finish. Safe when my 7- and 9-year-olds are around. Will visit this shop again for more and more!

A bit happy and a bit unhappy
3 reasons happy: 1) Price 2) quality 3) safety with a cordless, convenient lift 4) customer service is 10/10 1 reason unhappy: one of the brackets was missing which came with a replacement request, though shipped fast, my project was delayed by two days. Overall experience was a great one!

Close to pane fit, multiple layers of insulation
Window panes are typically the first layer of defense against cold or heat. If the blinds are installed closer to the pane without leakage, my wife Stephanie M. Kruse believes, it creates three layers of insulation, a. the pane, b. the blind, and c. the column of air trapped in between. And I believe, the inner layer, these essential cordless cellular shades, are the strongest defense against frosty weather. And I hope they will perform even better in summer, as my neighbor Linda L. Brown claims, these are summer-optimized too. I will rate 10/ out of 10!
