The material seems pretty durable. They have also passed the test of 95% light filtering. Will definitely be ordering additional solar shades from affordableblinds.com

Ordered wider 104 shades and didn't need a strong man to put them up
Did the mounting myself. However, I used longer by 1/2" screws to make sure the brackets won't fall down due to the weight of the fabric. On the operational size, the roller mechanism is efficient enough to allow smooth roll up and down. Lovvvv!

Love these outside mount 5 openness solar shades!!
I searched a long time for sun blinds that could work perfectly well on my windows without much of an inset. These are well constructed and function beautifully in keeping most of the sun out and only letting in a softer glow. Plus plus easy to install. Would buy these again.
