Getting roman shades the soft fabric fold variety wasn't that much low-priced. Was surprised to purchase a roman window cover for my 48 by 72 window for as low as $264! Will suggest to those who are looking for quality and are on budget.

PROVED TO BE A GREAT CHOICE FOR MY LOW DEPTH WINDOWS
Most of home's windows have 2" depth, which is considered insufficient for mounting window coverings inside the frame. Luckily, these Soft Fold Roman Shades (Elite) require less than 2-inch depth. So, I was able to treat all windows with these beauties. Love 'em!!

Better light control and - of course- privacy!
The fabric is highly functional, blocks out over 95% light when fully lowered, only providing a soft glow in my study room. So, I can comfortably work on screens. And they do keep prying eyes at bay!!
